
For those young hockey players looking for extra development training throughout the hockey season and beyond, Coach Craig Didmon, has teamed up with Jeff Compton of Compton Sports Training Systems to provide a high performance, on and off-ice after school program from mid September to May. The HockeyFirst Skills Academy is open to players in Grades 3 to 6 and will be located at the new City Centre Arena. Read more
Spencer Middle School and Belmont High School have teamed up to offer a hockey program for their students. By offering an elite hockey program to regular hockey players, students are not required to have a high level of expertise to be accepted into the program.
By blending hockey with the school curriculum we hope to increase students’ eagerness and zest for education. This enthusiasm for school will help to enhance their overall academic performance and in turn increase the number of students moving on to post secondary education

to a school. They bring in high achieving clientele, enhance a positive school
climate, provide positive press coverage and promote school achievement
